A Safe, Affirming LGBTQ+ Community Center in Placer County
Placer LGBTQ+ Center is a welcoming, affirming community space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and allied individuals throughout Placer County. Now open for scheduled events and by appointment, our Center providers programs, services, resources, and gathering space designed to support safety, connection, wellness, and belonging across all ages. We hope to offer regular drop-in hours in the near future. If you would like to learn more about hosting an event or group at the Center, please email [email protected].
At a time when many LGBTQ+ youth and adults feel isolated or unsafe in schools, churches, and public spaces, the Placer LGBTQ+ Center exists as a place where people can show up as themselves, find support, and build community without fear or judgment.
a real need
Why the Center Matters
Placer County has long needed a dedicated LGBTQ+ community hub. Recent increases in harmful rhetoric and actions have made the need for safe, supportive spaces even more urgent. The Placer LGBTQ+ Center offers a physical location where individuals and families can access resources, attend events, participate in programs, and connect with others who understand their experiences.
